DC communities are powerful, connected, and under attack. Federal troops, national guards from multiple states, and local DC police - now led by Trump - have launched an assault to harass, surveil, and detain Black and brown working-class residents, immigrants, youth, and unhoused neighbors.
Hundreds have been arrested. Thousands harassed. All for daring to simply live their daily lives.
WE
HAVE THE
RIGHT TO
FREEDOM
AND
SAFETY.
DC demands an immediate withdrawal of federal troops from the District and an end to the federalization of the local police department.
Trump is treating us as enemies in our own homes, at jobs, and in the streets. We refuse to be threatened. We refuse to be occupied. We the people, are taking back our city.

We, the people, are fighting back. We march to say loud and clear:
This is our city.
We live here.
We work here.
We raise our families here.
Together,
we demand:
• An immediate withdrawal of federal troops from the District
• An end to the federalization of the local police department
• The right to protect our communities in the future, permanently

This event has safety marshals and security protocols. Participants who join us to march, rally, and participate agree to create a peaceful, nonviolent space.
If your group is organizing a bus, please fill out our bus coordination form. Due to the rapid response nature of the mobilization, we cannot manage individual bus recruitment but can support with logistics, such as bus drop-off and pickup locations.
